MR. ALTON DUTCH MISHOE, (43) On Sunday, June 30, 2013 the world lost a wonderful man and Heaven gained an angel. However, I'm certain he's up there in good company, with his parents, Harvey B & Evelyn Mishoe, his son, AJ, his mother-in-law, Jean Richardson and brother-in-law, Joel Todd just to name a few. He's survived by numerous family and friends that will find it difficult to go on without him. Such as his wife and soul mate, Beth; his sister, Mary "Cat" Todd; his brothers, Edsel, Ronald and Harvey Jr; brother-in-law, Sherman Todd; step-children, Brittany, Trey, Brent and Bethany; along with five (5) nieces; three (3) nephews; seven (7) great-nieces; four (4) great-nephews; two (2) great-great-nieces; three (3) great-great-nephews and countless other family members. "ALTON" was always surrounded by many friends such as Todd Gillenwater- the duo often referred to as "Mutt & Jeff". I wish to express a heartfelt thank you to Ian Maguire, a tremendous lawyer and genuine friend who's always gone above and beyond the call of duty. "ALTON" was often referred to as "The Lawn Mower Man" because he was a genius with small engines. He had a passion for racing which earned him serveral go-cart championships and was a hugh Nascar fan. "ALTON" was also a big George Jones fan. Once he purchased over a dozen tickets to a concert for family and friends. Our row sang so loud the concert inadvertantly turned into "The Alton Mishoe Concert." I have to admit, we did George proud. I like to think their singing duets in Heaven. "ALTON" also enjoyed Karaoke, espically singing "Jackson" with his wife, Beth. He was always extremely family oriented. Family and friends meant everything to him, including his dogs: Fancy, Stimpy, Molly, Chloe and Teenie Weenie. Alton was always the first one to have everyone join hands and say grace at family functions. Whenever he'd see me upset over a loved one that has passed, he'd always say "don't cry, they're where we are trying to get". He freely gave to those in need and because of his generosity and he's still giving because of his organ donations. I pray the heart recipient has alot of room (they're going to need it) because Alton's heart is bigger than most. After giving Alton his last kiss I said "This is not the end-so you have a blast in Heaven, because I WILL see you again, we all will."
