Charles A Vile

Charles Anthony Vile, 78, passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on Wednesday May 21, 2025 at his home in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. He was born on February 18, 1947 in Camden, New Jersey to the late Charles H. Vile & Irene Berguices Vile. Chuck proudly served our country in the United States Navy on the USS Leary, DD879- during the Vietnam War. Following his honorable separation from the military, Chuck went on to work as a dental service technician for many years. In his free time, Chuck enjoyed time spent making memories with his family and friends. He never met a stranger and could strike up a conversation with anyone. He was an active member of Calvary Bible Church where he felt at home. Above all else, Chuck loved his family with his whole heart. He will be deeply missed. Left to cherish Chuck’s memory are his adoring wife, Diane L. Vile of Myrtle Beach; their daughters, Christine and her husband, Thomas Besser of Tabernacle, NJ, Lori and her husband Michael Torres of Wall, NJ & Danielle and her husband Henry Fraley of Canton, MI; grandchildren, Vincent, Sophia, Tommy, Kelsey, Trent, Mason, Travis, Beau, Scarlett, Michael, Allie, Lilly, Julie & Charleigh; one great-grandchild; sister, Helen Vile of Hallstead, PA; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins; a large, loving, extended family and many supportive friends and neighbors. A Celebration of Chuck’s life will be held at 10:30AM on Saturday June 28, 2025 at Calvary Bible Church, 4511 Dick Pond Rd., Myrtle Beach, SC 29588. Inurnment will immediately follow within Hillcrest Cemetery Columbarium, 1000 SC-544, Conway, SC 29526, at 12pm, where military honors will be accorded.
