Patsy Ann Davis

Patsy Ann Davis, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and faithful servant of the Lord, entered her heavenly home surrounded by the love of her family. She was married to the love of her life for forty-five years, Grady Davis, and together they built a life filled with love, laughter, and faith. Born in Pembroke, North Carolina, Patsy was the cherished daughter of Joseph and Averna Bullard, both of whom preceded her in death, along with her siblings, Walter Bullard, Lee Edward Bullard and Josephine Jacobs. She spent most of her adult life in Conway and Myrtle Beach, where she touched countless lives with her kindness, generosity, and unwavering faith. Patsy was blessed with three children whom she loved deeply, Tracy Davis (Tracy), Monica Bailey (Scott), and Paul McKinney and she found immense joy in being “Nana” to her precious grandchildren: Chelsea McKinney (Deryk), Cody Davis, Haley Godwin (Nick), Crystal, Cameron, and Carson Bailey; great grandchildren, Hatley Godwin and Lily Godwin and siblings, Larry Bullard and Judy Jacobs. She also treasured the memory of her sweet granddaughter Taylor, who went to heaven at just ten years old after bravely battling leukemia. Patsy longed for the day they would be reunited in the presence of Jesus. For many years, Patsy served as the Assistant Manager of the Myrtle Beach Primary School cafeteria, where she was known for her compassion and generosity. Countless children were fed because Patsy quietly paid for their meals out of her own pocket — never seeking recognition, only wanting to show the love of Christ. Her life was a living testimony of Matthew 25:40: “Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.” Patsy was an active member of Dogwood Hill Baptist Church. One of her greatest joys was working with the Good News Club, an after-school ministry where she shared the gospel and led many children to accept Christ as their Savior. Her gentle words and sincere heart planted eternal seeds in young lives. Even as her health declined and she was no longer able to leave home easily, Patsy began sending handwritten cards of encouragement to friends, family, and even strangers. Each note carried her love, her faith, and her desire to uplift others in their own struggles. It became her heartfelt ministry in her later years — a reminder that no matter our circumstances, God can still use us to shine His light. Despite the many physical challenges she faced, Patsy continued to praise God for His goodness and grace, looking forward to the day when she would see her Savior face to face. Her life was a beautiful reflection of steadfast faith, unconditional love, and quiet service. Green was Patsy’s favorite color and the family is asking everyone to wear something green in her honor. Today, we rejoice knowing she is no longer suffering. We are confident she has heard the Savior’s precious words: “Well done, my good and faithful servant.” (Matthew 25:23) Patsy would want nothing more than to spend eternity with all her family and friends — and she would lovingly invite you to join her there by surrendering your life to Christ. As Scripture reminds us: I John 1:9, Romans 10:9-10, 13. Her legacy of faith, kindness, and love will live on in every life she touched. Funeral Services will be held 3pm, Sunday, October 12, 2025 at Watson Funeral Services Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Floyd, Rev. Wayne Williams and Rev. Marcus Fowler officiating. Private Burial will follow. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
