Sheila Kaye Brashear

Shelia Kaye Brashear Conway, SC Shelia Kaye Brashear, 75, passed away Friday, July 12, 2024 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Kaye was born in Amory, MS, the daughter of the late Williard Monroe and Lillian Brown Williams. She was employed with and retired from Security Finance where she devoted herself for over 20 years. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by sister-in-law Betty Williams and nephew Scott Williams. Kaye was the heart of her family and home. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 27 years, John Howard Brashear; Children, Melissa Lindsey (Chuck Jenkins), Michelle Lindsey Singleton, Michael Lorenzana (Danielle), Michelle Dixon (Carla Welch) and Misty Brashear Combs; two brothers,William "Billy" Williams and Doug Williams (Brenda); grandchildren, Hannah, Levi, Makayla, Madison,Camden, Michael, Nicholas, Rebekah, Lauryn, Baylee, Jayce, Izak, Kinzleigh, Natalie; and 10 great-grandchildren. Kaye was a devoted Christian woman who lived her life by her favorite Bible verse, Philippians 4:13 - "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." She found her joy in showering her family and friends with love, always being the first to wrap her arms around you with a hug that would make you feel like you were home. She was a woman who would look her finest, no matter the day. When at home, you would find her in the kitchen whipping up your favorite food or on the floor playing with a grandbaby. She loved to explore and experience life, whether talking to a stranger at the grocery store, spending the day at the beach with anyone she could convince to join her, or taking a trip to her favorite cabin in the Tennessee mountains. Funeral service will be 11:00 am Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at Goldfinch Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery, directed by Goldfinch Funeral Home.
