Sister Sylvia Jean Lee was 59, and departed this life Friday November 27, 2020 in Marion County. She was the mother of Tony Lee, William Lee, Kendal Lee and Shasta Lee. Funeral services are scheduled to be held at the Jackson & McGill Memorial Chapel on Sunday December 6, 2020 at 2:00 pm. She will be laid to rest at the Hillcrest Cemetery 1000 SC Hwy 544 Conway, SC. 29526. Services will be live-streamed on the Jackson & McGill Facebook Page. A Life Dedicated to Serving Others “I have fought a good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” 11 Timothy 4:7 Ms. Sylvia Lee age 59 passed away peacefully on Friday, November 27, 2020. Sylvia was born in Mullins, SC to late Elbert and Lucille Phillips. She attended the Public Schools of Marion County and was employed by Anvil Knitwear and AVM for many years. Earlier in life, she met and married William Lee, Sr. and through that union four children were born. She was a respectful loving and caring person who loved the Lord and was a faithful member of Anointed Vessel of Deliverance in Florence, SC. Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her children: Tony (Melissa) Lee, William (Sheila Coleman) Lee, Jr., Kendal Lee , all of Myrtle Beach, SC. Shasta Lee of Dillon, SC. Five sisters: Helen (Jim) Phillips, Judy Brown, Jeanette Reaves, Norma Phillips all of Marion County, SC. Priscilla (Gerald) Page of Williamsburg, VA. Sylvia was proceeded in death by her brother Leonard Bethea and sister Hatti Bell Campbell. Her grandchildren: Brianna Lee, Jasmine Lee, Keasia Lee, Janiya Eaddy, Kierra Lee, Christopher Lee, Kani Lee, Aaliyah Lee, Mahogany Lee, Myrah Lee, and Shakiya Lee. One great granddaughter and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. Special friends Joyce Britt, Freida Dixon, and Abraham. The family of Sister Sylvia Jean Lee, in consideration of the current health crisis facing our world, nation, state and local community, has decided to hold a private 50 people or less, family only, funeral service for their loved one with private interment immediately following. While the Lee family would love to be surrounded by your presence, they acknowledge the health risks to family, church members, friends, and particularly to those who are most vulnerable to this disease, the elderly and those with chronic health conditions. What the family needs most at this time are your prayers and understanding. Thank you for your concern and cooperation
