Ben Smith, age 31, passed away Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at his residence. Born February 8, 1991, the son of Sam and Karen Childs Smith. Ben was a very hard worker and he had a big heart. Surviving in addition to his parents are one brother, David Smith of Pueblo, Colorado; a sister, Abigail King of Conway; his maternal grandfather, Bob Childs of Conway; and his paternal grandmother, Betty Smith of Socastee; and many other extended family and friends. A graveside gathering will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, February 13, 2022 at Hillcrest Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Shoreline Rehabilitation, 2404 Wise Road, Conway, SC 29526.
