Grace Inez Lupo Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Ms. Grace Inez Lupo, age 90, passed away Thursday, August 21, 2019 at Embrace Hospice House. Born June 7, 1929 in Conway, she was the daughter of the late Daniel McCall and Rosa Nell Anderson Lupo. Ms. Lupo was a member of Hickory Grove Baptist Church, where she was active in all areas of church life, including the church training union for over 60 years. She was very devout and was always willing to pick up children and make sure they were able to get to church. Ms. Lupo was devoted to her family and was the rock that held them together. She was the owner and operator of Grace's Beautyette for over 49 years. Along with her parents, Ms. Lupo was predeceased by eight brothers and sisters, Joe Lupo (Lucille), Beadie Benton (Carwell), Clarice Ellis (Shelby), D.M. Lupo, Jr. (Lula Mae), Liston Lupo, John Lupo (Johnnie), David Lupo, and Rosa Holt (Gus) and one sister-in-law, Ruby Lupo. Surviving Ms. Lupo are one brother, Elton R. Lupo of Conway; and many, many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, August 24, 2019 at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel with Rev. Robert Roberson officiating. Entombment will be private. Visitation will be held Friday evening from 6:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to Hickory Grove Baptist Church, 2710 Highway 905, Conway, SC 29526. The family would like to extend a thank you to the staff of Conway Medical Center and Embrace Hospice for their care and support during Ms. Lupo's sickness. They would also like to thank Blake Todd for his care and support.
