Santiago "Troy" Hernandez

Santiago "Troy" Hernandez, 20, passed away on Friday, January 29, 2021. Born on February 17, 2000 in South Carolina, son of Sandra-Lind and Santiago Hernandez. Troy was a U.S. Marine stationed in Camp LeJeune. He enjoyed fishing with family and friends, playing the guitar and video games. He also loved working on his Jeep. He had a smile that would light up the room and a contagious laugh. He was always willing to encourage others and lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Survivors are his wife Anna Hernandez, his parents, Santiago and Sandra-Lind Hernandez, his in-laws, Greg and Tiffany Halford, a grandmother, Jose de Jesu Hernandez, a brother, Johann Lind Hernandez, two sisters, Zaralyn "Gigi" and Ciara Hernandez, his Aunts and Uncles, Martha Hernandez, Felipe Hernandez, Angelica Hernandez, Hortencia Hernandez, Gabriel (Sylvia) Hernandez, Jesus Hernandez, Carlos Hernandez, Ericka Hernandez, Tono Hernandez, Ana Hernandez, and many cousins. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 AM, Friday, February 19, 2021 at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, North Myrtle Beach, SC. Burial, with Military Honors, will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery, Conway, SC. A visitation will be held from 8:30 AM- 9:45 AM on Friday, February 19, 2021 at McMillan-Small Funeral Home.
