Gloria Jean (Totin) Devine

Gloria Jean Devine, 72, passed away peacefully with her loving daughter by her side on Sunday September 17, 2023 at her home in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina. She was born on November 22, 1950 in Sharon, Pennsylvania to the late Steve Totin & Mary Garrone Totin. Along with her parents, Gloria is reunited in passing with her beloved husband, Tim Devine; and sister, Maryann Totin. Gloria was a hardworking woman with a heart of gold. She enjoyed time spent traveling and trying new things. Gloria’s love for the beach and being in the sun, led her to have a second home in Palm Beach, Florida where she made many memories with her friends for over 25 years. Gloria had an adventurous side and lived life to the fullest! She looked forward to her annual Ohio trip, visiting friends, wineries and enjoying the local festivals and food. In her free time, Gloria enjoyed eating and sharing meals with those closest to her. Above all else, Gloria loved her family with her whole heart. She especially relished time spent with her grandchildren and was proudly their biggest cheerleader with all of their endeavors. Gloria will be deeply missed but fondly remembered for her quick wit, bright smile and the love she had for her family. Left to cherish Gloria’s memory are her adoring daughter, Gina Goodyear and her fiancée, Rodney Pitts of Murrells Inlet and their children, Billy, Anthony, Dominick & Colton; cousin, Sharon Kerr; as well as a nephew, Tyler Totin; and a large, loving, extended family. A Celebration of Gloria’s life will be held at 3:00PM on Friday September 22, 2023 at Burroughs Funeral home, 3558 Old Kings Highway, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576. The family will gather to greet friends, from 2:00PM until the time of service. Burial will be held privately. At the request of the family, please consider memorial contributions in lieu of flowers.
